1. During Windows XP install make student user
2. Start > Run > control userpasswords     
   1. Create teacher user account
3. Install all drivers
4. Install Novell Client 4.91 SP3
   1. Login as TWEclass to install SAV and Zenworks
5. Install Groupwise
6. Install Office 2003
7. Go to Windows Updates, choose and install Microsoft Updates from Dialog box on right
   1. Install all updates excluding hardware from Microsoft Updates
8. Install Software
   • Firefox
   • Adobe Reader 8
   • Real Alternative
   • Quicktime Alternative
   • FLV Player
   • K-Lite Codec Pack
     • Choose Profile 8: Lots of stuff (without player)
   • Microsoft Image Resizer PowerToy
   • Flash, Java, Shockwave
9. Go to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Desktop
   1. Delete all shortcuts for installed software
10. Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs > Add/Remove Windows Components
    1. Remove: Games, MSN, Outlook Express, Windows Messenger
11. Right-click taskbar > Toolbars > Quick Launch
    1. Make sure Internet Explorer, Show Desktop, and Groupwise are on the Quick Launch bar
12. Right-click Language toolbar (microphone) > Settings > Language bar button > Uncheck Show Language Bar on Desktop
13. Right-click My Computer > Properties > Remote Assistance tab > Disable Remote assistance
14. In Explorer click View > Details
    1. Click Tools > Folder Options > Apply to all folders

Login to student and teacher users and do the following

1. Set Internet Explorer home page to www.woodridge.k12.oh.us
2. Right-click desktop > Properties > Screen Saver tab > None
   1. Click Power Options > Make all selections Never
3. Remove administrative rights from teacher and student users
